Our clients include corporations and private individuals, both local and international.  We represent many of the financial institutions in the mortgage lending business. We also sit on the CPF Board’s panel of lawyers.

Private Property Matters – Residential and Commercial

We handle all types of private property matters, including purchases and sales of properties, be it residential or commercial, apartments, landed properties or factories.

The team works closely with local banks in relation to loans taken out by SMEs for their businesses with properties as collaterals.

We have also built up in-depth experience in dealing with JTC properties and are well placed to advise clients who may be looking to purchase or sell such properties.

HDB Property Matters/Post Divorce

Aside from the regular retail sale and purchase of HDB flats, we are also able advise clients on how best to structure a transfer of property following a divorce.

Estate Transfers

We often advise clients on the transfers of properties as part of an estate, either pursuant to Grant of Probate or Grant of Letters of Administration.

Tenancy Disputes ​

On contentious matters, we advise our clients on disputes relating to tenancies and provide guidance on the drafting requirements of tenancies, including advising on compliance with the recent changes to leases for landlords pursuant to the Code of Conduct for Landlords.

• Acting for the seller of a Yishun coffee shop that was sold at a record high of $40 million in 2022.

• Acting for the Estate in the sale of a good class bungalow at Mount Rosie for $38.38 million.

• Acting for a Chinese company in its acquisition of a conservation shophouse at Amoy Street via the sale of shares in a property holding company.
