Hazel Lee

Associate

Hazel is an associate in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial practice group.

​

She is involved in a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital and general advisory work. She has built up a breadth of experience in a range of domestic and cross-border matters across various sectors such as energy, healthcare and technology.

 

Hazel is also regularly involved in funds structuring, in particular via the use of the Singapore Variable Capital Company.

EXPERIENCE

  • Representing a hospitality technology start-up on their internal restructuring and series seed financing round.

  • Representing a Taiwan-based technology company as Singapore counsel in their initial public offering in Taiwan.

  • Representing an Energy as a Service (EaaS) provider headquartered in Singapore on their agreements relating to, amongst others, M&As and PPAs for steam and solar power.

  • Representing a biotechnology company headquartered in Singapore on its acquisition of a majority stake in two specialised medical centres within Singapore.

  • Representing a local medical technology start-up in their seed financing round.

  • Representing a US-based multinational technology conglomerate on the leasing of its colocation data centres within the Asia-Pacific regions.

  • Representing a global venture capital firm on their investments into start-ups in the hospitality and technology sectors.
